ut-oh
ever get presented with a question to which there just isn’t a good answer. any answer you give is going to hurt feelings. what do you do? just the best you can i guess! the responsibility resides with the person asking the question! i think some questions are worth it to ask, even though the answer can’t possibly feel good. such as when you’re looking for honest feedback, and maybe it’s best coming from your loved one. and then there are cases when you shouldn’t ‘trap’ them into no-win questions. “do you ever think of you ex?” “is she hot?” “do i look fat in this dress?” you betcha.
it’s all in the expression! and i should give partial writing credits to the tv sitcom friends since i played off their joke of, “we were on a break!”
