{"id":1901,"date":"2013-10-29T10:00:41","date_gmt":"2013-10-29T14:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.finncomics.com\/?p=1901"},"modified":"2013-10-29T10:00:41","modified_gmt":"2013-10-29T14:00:41","slug":"inktober-days-11-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.finn.finncomics.com\/?p=1901","title":{"rendered":"INKtober &#8211; days 11-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>having survived the first 10 days, i found myself at this point getting more and more complex. \u00a0originally, i was aiming for short 15-30 minutes ink sketches. \u00a0these were now turning into a full hour to do!<\/p>\n<p>below are the pieces from Day 11 through 15. \u00a0on Day 13, i was determined to do a close-up face shot, to further practice my shading skills. \u00a0with this piece, i also learned a bit about negative space, or white space, and the power of it. \u00a0not everything deserves a line. \u00a0sometimes, having it blank says more. \u00a0further, i think i&#8217;ve been working on my right side of the brain to truly capture what is seen, and not draw what i know should be there. \u00a0so, for Day 13, i really wanted to capture the shine from his black rim glasses.<\/p>\n<p>on Day 14, i decided i would shift over to females for awhile. \u00a0this would prove to be actually more challenging. \u00a0how do i capture enough facial details without making them look old!
